Is SB Tactical making SBR tax stamps obsolete?

SB Tactical is legally pushing the boundaries of the pistol brace/SBR market and essentially making the wait time and $200 tax stamp completely obsolete. I recently received a SBM4 from SB Tactical to do a review on and I have to say that I am totally impressed by the feel and comfort while shooting. The packaging and presentation was extremely nice as it was wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap material it arrived with no harm done although it consists of solid rubber so not much harm was to be expected but the extra care was very nice. A lot of companies I have been dealing with lately just simply throws the product into a box and hopes for the best which is just plain sloppy and disgraceful that they don’t care about the people spending money to support them and buy their products. The customer and end user should always be the top priority of any business, anything less does not deserve your patronage.

Let us all be serious with each other and recognize that if you were foolish enough to pay for a tax stamp that you do NOT adjust the stock after it has been adjusted the first time. If you are running a SBR then you are eventually going to set the stock at the position that is most comfortable for you to shoot with that applies to your needs. An SBR is basically a set and forget ATF regulated item essentially speaking it is a total waste of money for the tax stamp after the ATF said that you could shoulder a pistol brace. I honestly cannot think of any competent firearm owner that would choose a basic or Magpul stock and 3-12 month wait over a SB Tactical brace and that is simply because not many people want to wait that long for a pointless reason. The loophole that SB Tactical found in my opinion completely destroys the needs to pay and wait for your given rights.
It is actually way more comfortable to shoulder the SBM4 pistol brace than it is to use the most common Magpul stock and with AR pistols becoming evermore popular it is a common sense item to purchase. The brace creates no pressure points and is totally adjustable to the exact setting that you are comfortable with. Myself, I personally took some Gorilla glue around the inside and set it to my exact comfortable shooting length and pushed it down and allowed for the glue to take effect so it would not move. Thus, saving myself a $200 tax stamp and months and months of waiting time to exercise my god given rights (a 7” barrel is no less deadly than a 16” barrel with the correct training).

To think otherwise is silly mistake, if you were to ask me personally I would have to say that you were insane to pay all that extra money and hope for the best to exercise your rights. So, save yourself a pile of money and headache and get yourself some of that SB Tactical goodness as it is perfectly legal for you to bask in that totally legal and comfortable feeling. Their products range from just a $100 all the way up to $280 depending on how adjustable you need it but every option is both cheaper and faster then begging for your rights.
