Vendetta Precision VP-26 Magazine Extension

Everyone always enjoys some extra rounds in their magazines at the range to extend the fun a they are having by a bit. Whether you are a competitive shooter or a casual range visitor the VP-26 extensions are going to perform great for you. At the end of the day that’s what we all have to find the quality to price balance of in our kits and you get a solid balance of both with Vendetta Precisions VP-26 Extensions.

Getting to it, so these actually use your factory spring and follower in your factory PMAGS so there is no guess work when installing the VP-26 extension onto your magazine. You simply depress the bottom end plate of the spring and pull the base plate off holding the spring. Then open your new VP-26 up and take off the retaining screw and slip it over the base plate lips and reinstall the retaining screw and you are done. The whole process should take roughly 90 seconds depending how long it takes you to find your set of allen keys. Then a quick functions check on the magazine to make sure the follower is on par I usually take my thumb and depress it a few times and move on.

Now these magazine extensions will work with both gen 2 and 3 Magpul PMAGS the 30 round and 40 round magazines. With a 30 round magazine you will get an extra 8 round capacity bringing it up to a 38 + 1 capacity and a 40 round magazine will give you an extra 10 rounds bringing it up to a whopping 50 + 1 capacity. They perform great I was worried about with such high capacities that they would be extremely hard to load the last few rounds but the loading force stayed rather consistent throughout loading. Another worry I had was with using the factory spring was the hop up speed not being on time to feed for rapid fire. Glad to report that with a binary trigger shooting as fast as I can I had zero issues whatsoever.

As far as the quality of them I am rather amazed they can sell these for only $29 as they are CNC machined out of a single piece of billet aluminum and very solid. I knew with the purpose of these they had to be dropped several times at multiple angles so they couldn’t stay as pretty as they were in the package. I dropped them fully loaded for maximum damage and the highest probability of failure I could think of several times on the front, back, both sides, and directly on the bottom. I had zero issues with them functioning afterwards and during so if you are a competition shooter sling them with confidence because they can take it. Compared to the bigger name and bigger price tag magazine extensions the VP-26 measures up extremely well and for the price you can definitely stock up! Check them out here.
