Podavach: U-Loader a Time Saver?

I love the fact that there is a lot of different things that you are able to use in order to reload spent magazines faster than what you are normally used too. This is something that I have been on the hunt for when it comes to reloading during my time at the range. There are plenty of different styles of loaders that are made available on the market, but there is one that stood out to me when it came to faster reloading times in terms of bulk magazines.

The company known as Podavach LLC has made a table-top U Loader that I have found to be an effective piece of equipment when it comes to the range time preservation. Over the course of the review that I have planned for them, I want to go over a few different things that I liked when it came to the reloading capabilities and the versatility of the loader itself (multi-caliber use).

The first thing that I would want to talk about is the weight of the U-Loader. I am gonna be honest, when it comes to things like this, I do not want something big, bulky and in the way of everything when iI am at the range. With this U-Loader, I noticed that the first thing that comes to mind is the weight of the product. I love the fact that this product is light, I take a lot to the range in terms of gear, firearms, ammo, mags, etc; the last thing that I need when I go to the range is to lug around something extremely heavy. In the case of the U-Loader, I would have to give Podavach some praise for what they did with this. The U-Loader isn’t heavy at all weighing in around 2lbs; 3 at the max I would say.

To go hand in hand with the weight is the size of the U-Loader itself. The U-Loader isn’t extremely huge, which I find extremely beneficial. The tables at the ranges that I normally frequent aren’t usually big enough to hold everything on it at once. The fact that this loader doesn’t take up a lot of room is a plus.

The next thing that I would like to go over the versatility of the loader. There are a plethora of calibers that individuals such as myself shoot. The fact that you are able to utilize this loader for different calibers is kinda like a saving grace I would say. The fact that they did not limit the loader to a specific caliber opens the door to different shooters instead of a certain group. Along with being able to utilize different calibers, the different style of rifle platform capabilities is there as well for the user.

  • Supported calibers: 5.56×45, 7.62×39, 6.5 Grendel, .300 Black Out, 5.45×39, .223, 204 Ruger, .224 Valkyrie, 25-45 sharps, 6.8 SPC
  • Supported Platforms as well: AR15 (M16, M4, Ruger Mini), MSR15, AK Models such as ( 47, 74, AKS, AKM)
Bag used for housing U-Loader

I would have to say the ability to use this U-loader is extremely easy. All you do is load the specific rounds that you are using into the feeder tray, insert the magazine into the tray ( the magazine needs to be held in place in order to make sure that it will feed without issues), place the pusher in the feed tray and push the rounds into the magazine. I loaded about 30 magazines over the course of 4 different occasions and I had experienced zero problems with the loader.

  • A bag is made available for the carrying and protection of the U-Loader

For my final thoughts, I would have to say that I am a fan of speed loaders when it comes to saving time when I am at the range, especially when you are paying for range time. Podavach has offered us the ability to have a strong working speed loader that is light and easy to use, and I am grateful for their product. I would have to say that when it comes to this product, I would like to refer this to anyone interested in a way to save range time and be able to do more shooting than loading.
