The LoneWolf Distributors 460 Rowland conversion: I heard about this amazing cartridge from a friend and it is simply that! Amazing. Let me preface by explaining: The 460 Rowland is a 45acp cartridge diameter and length. The only difference is the casing is 1/16” longer than the 45acp cartridge. The result is a 45 ball speeding down range at 44 mag speeds! (850 fps vs 1440 fps) #gamechanger so you have similar performance of that of a 10mm.

I repurposed a Glock G21 police duty gun that was retired by doing the conversion kit (Similar to above) which was three things: Spring Change, Barrel Change, and a Compensator. Pretty simple right? The biggest change is how you shoot it. One cannot simply “double tap” the 460Rowland. It has too much pressure.

What cool advantages was it to convert it? Well let me show you! Converting a G21 Glock made it a 44 mag without having to change my Mags, (13+1 of 44 mag isn’t a bad thing to have right?) so each follow up shot packs a punch. I can put a Tac Light on the rail and use it day or night. Last but, not least it has a solid enough frame that it can handle it. OHHHHH Duh! I forgot to mention, you do NOT lose the ability to fire regular 45ACP’s after the conversion (OHHH YEA!) So, you fire off a mag of 460r and do a mag dump you can immediately pop in a mag of 45acp and you are good to go! The only thing you must do is to clean the breach prior to shooting 460r again after shooting the 45acp. (it leaves shavings in the breach that must be cleaned).

Now there are conversions for the G30 Glock however, you must research it as you can not use the G30c because the frame will not handle the pressure.

I can say for a fact it is my favorite gun to have on my chest when hunting or fishing. I carry mine with a Tac light in my custom Alaskan style kydex chest rig.
