Today we celebrate the lives of the brave soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the nation.

The United States of America is not just a place. Americans are not bound by tribalism or a shared history. We are bound by the ideas of liberty and freedom.

Today we celebrate and not mourn those who died upholding our ideas because without their service and willingness to fight we would not survive.

Say a prayer for those brave men and women, but also honor them by protecting freedom and liberty. Never back down from the idea of American Exceptionalism.
