On the East Coast of the United States lays New Jersey. A state where the rights of American citizens mainly the right to bear arms goes to die. The Governor of the State of New Jersey, had previously set forth a group of laws that limit the exercising of the right to bear arms. Governor Murphy had made it early on into his career, and prior to taking office that he will do anything possible to limit the rights of all in New Jersey. This was aimed to keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals. As a resident living in the state of New Jersey, we have seen these new laws do more harm than good for New Jerseyans.

New Jersey is a may issue state. Meaning that the government deems on its own, whether or not that you have a good reason to carry a firearm. Crazy I know, but I guess protecting your life and the lives of your family isn’t reason enough to legally carry a firearm.
A slew of other proposals have found their way into law recently. Magazine capacity is now reduced to 10 rounds, armor piercing rounds ( which are already banned) now illegal, background checks on private sale, and many more.

Shortly after this horrific incident that had taken place in Pittsburgh. The Governor has now released in statement that he has introduced more laws that will attack the Second Amendment once more. On the chopping block is magazine capacity reduction once more. Buckle up my fellow citizens of New Jersey, we are looking at a purge of the remaining rights of us as Americans , leaving us more vulnerable than ever, and unable to protect ourselves.
