Nick’s take on RAH Coffee Company

Recently, I have had the chance to try something new in terms of a review. The one thing that I absolutely love when it comes to my reviews and writing, in general, is being able to jump into the unknown. This Veteran-Owned company known as Rah Coffee Company gave me the opportunity to do just that when it comes to expanding my writing, and I couldn’t be more excited to jump right into it.

I always enjoy a good cup of coffee

When it comes to RAH Coffee, I first found them on Social Media and knew that I had to try their coffee. I am a big coffee drinker and the chance to try a new coffee is something that I am always open to. So when I spoke to the company and they agreed to send me out a bag of their coffee to go over. I knew that this was something I was going to have fun with, whether or not I liked the flavor or not.

A company with History

So let’s jump right into this review, shall we? The first thing that I noticed when it came the coffee was the packaging that it came in. The packaging is something that really drew my attention to the coffee after I had received it in the mail. The coffee comes packaged in a bag that really doesn’t differ from any other coffee that you would buy from any coffee company.

The really important/interesting thing that I have noticed on the front of the packaging is the type of roast and the name of the coffee type that you have received. In my case, I was able to try out for the first time was a Medium Roast and the name is MSR Tampa. The meaning behind the name is something that caught my attention when I read the packaging. For those who don’t know what MSR Tampa is, it is the Main Supply Route taken by convoy operators while deployed to Iraq.

How’s it taste?

I have to say, when it comes to the coffee it was definitely smooth. That was one of the main things that I had worried about when it came to trying a new medium roast type of coffee. I’ll be honest, when I have tried different medium roasts of coffee before, they were far from a medium blend. Either they were extremely light to the point where you thought you were just drinking warm water all the way to the point where the coffee was extremely strong and they just put medium roast labeling on a dark roast coffee. With this being said, I have to give them high marks when it comes to them roasting their coffee beans to perfection.

  • I did note the chocolate taste after a few sips of my first cup.
  • Did pair well with for me when it came to my breakfast that consisted of waffles and syrup.
  • The coffee not being overwhelming allowed it to work with cream and sugar or straight black.

Final thoughts on the Coffee?

I have had a lot of coffee in my day. I traveled to a lot of places and tried different coffee from different areas. I also had the opportunity to try different craft coffee companies, each one had different tastes some good and some absolutely terrible. When it comes to RAH Coffee Company, I would have to say when it comes to medium roasts, ( what I only drink, to begin with), has made a place for itself in my top 3 most enjoyable coffees.
