GunTec USA BCG

I have had the chance lately to be able to review some products from Guntec USA, that I have found quite beneficial to me for my rifle. Over the last few reviews I had the chance to be able to review a rail that I have found promising along with a multi-caliber stock. Now I have the chance yet again to be able to review another product from this company. The product that I have been able to review now is a Bolt Carrier Group for my AR-15. Now I know what you must be thinking, “it is a bolt carrier group, there really isn’t much to get out of this,” but I am going to dive right into this and give you my thoughts and opinions on how I feel about this BCG from Guntec USA.

When I first got the Bolt Carrier Group from Guntec USA, I did some research before just throwing it into my rifle. I noticed that when it comes to the BCG they pay close attention to detail before they even shipped it out. When it comes to paying attention to detail in their products, I have seen that they run a magnet over the BCG after manufacturing. To many individuals they see this as normal quality control for their products. I find this extremely important when it comes to being a consumer, because it shows me that this company cares about their products and what individuals think about their reputation. Running this magnet over the BCG takes away any materials that may be left over from the machining process.

Putting this BCG to the test, I put it in my rifle and took it to the range. Prior to firing the rifle, I did however put a couple dabs of oil on the bolt. I did put about 12 magazines through my rifle with this BCG. I noticed that there was nothing significantly negative about the performance of the BCG. It performed well under the circumstances and cleaning the bolt after the range was pretty easy as well.

For my final thoughts on this BCG from Guntec USA, I would have to say my feedback is positive about this product and the company itself. The performance of BCG held up well. It ran pretty well with a few drops of oil to make sure that it would run pretty smooth.  For what your paying for the BCG and where it comes from you really can’t go wrong with it. Maintenance is pretty much self explanatory. All in all I have no problems when it comes to this BCG.
