Grip Print Left handed pistol grip review

With this world of ever growing technology something always catches me off guard. When someone can take a simple picture and make it into something custom for individuals I feel like it is magic. This also applies to pistol grips, I have run many grips in my life; the standard A2, Magpul, Venom defense and a few other off brands. But I have never had anything custom made for me something that no one else can use comfortably.

Grip Print has come out of nowhere with their custom-made grips, they aren’t going to send you a blank grip that you have file and sand like some other companies they are going to get you a grip that matches your hand. The first and only step in getting a grip configured to you is getting a proper picture of your hand on a white piece of paper. After that the owner uses his expertise in engineering to map out your and prints a grip just for you. Now most shooters are right handed and for the wrong handed shooters like me end up paying extra for left handed equipment. But the process of setting up the custom grip makes it so that there is a flat price of $44.99 for both the left and right-handed shooters. This is best deal for the left-handed shooters. While I understand that left handed products need to be more expensive in the grand scheme, Grip Print has given me a refreshing breath of air. The grip angle can be customized to your favorite angle. The owner offers the A2 grip angle 30 degree, Glock angle 22 degrees and 1911 angle 18 degrees. I picked the Glock angle as it is what I am used to more than any other grip.

Packaging is something that many companies fail at, most come in simple boxes, plastic bags and occasionally the custom package. Grip Print takes it a step above most companies, the grip is sent in a box with a foam cushion to keep the grip safe during shipping. The grip is also secured to the foam cushion by a piece of elastic, keeping it from rocking around the box during shipping. The lid of the box has your first name on it and the companies mission statement, but what catches my attention is that the donations. A portion of each proceed goes to Wishes For Warriors Corp which is fantastic to me.

I pulled the grip out and felt it in my hand, as expected it felt like the grip was made for me. As soon as I could I rushed into my gunroom and mounted it onto my .308 build, the grip uses a standard screw and mounts easily. The safety spring fits snuggly but not tight and is easily secured. I got it out to the range and every time I put my hand on the grip my fingers settled easily into the grooves and my finger placement on my Timney Calvin Elite flat trigger. I love this grip in all aspects and it will be there on my AR10 as I work with my precision skills with my AR10.
