I always have found it interesting that there is a possibility of having to make your way through the world in the event of a collapse in society, being lost in the wilderness having to fight for survival or the event of an all-out Apocalypse that will envelop the world as we know it. There are many different companies that provide different types of equipment that many individuals would find useful for those just in case moments.
The company that I have found produces a tactical rifle scabbard that I will be going over is known as Elite Survival Systems. I will be going over the effectiveness of this scabbard and the key characteristics that I find would be beneficial or detrimental, ( if any), to the user of this product. The first thing that I would like to go over is the ability to have this product either slung on your back with the strap that is provided by the company or the Mollee Strap capabilities that are also provided by the company.
In a situation that you will be covering large amounts of area on foot, there will be obstacles that you will need both hands free in order to face. I like to make sure that all packs that I use have a Mollee Strap System on the outside of the pack. I find Mollee Straps are something that I find extremely useful if I want to put extra pouches on the pack I am using. The fact that you are able to strap this scabbard onto a pack that has a Mollee Systems is something that is extremely beneficial. Not everyone will want to carry a rifle around their necks at all times, especially if you are just navigating through tough terrain and need to be able to hold onto something in order to provide more stability for said individual.
The other ability that you are able to carry this scabbard is the strap that you are able to use to sling around yourself when you do not have the capability to use the Mollee Straps. I find that this may be something that will get in the way of the user. Even though you can sling the scabbard behind you in order to keep it out of your way, there is always a possibility that the scabbard can just rotate around you.
The scabbard does offer protection to your rifle from the elements. This allows the opportunity to have your rifle protection from water or dirt or anything that may allow complications to arise to the user. Looking over the scabbard you are able to see that there is no possible way for anything to get into the inside of the product unless something falls in from the top, having it sealed on all other ends. The scabbard is made of pretty tough material as well. I for one am prone to destroying everything that I own. I find that if a product is made to be strong and durable, I do not have to worry about anything tearing or breaking within the first few months of me owning it.
Overall, I would have to say that Elite Survival Systems made a pretty decent product. I find that this scabbard has a place in the lives of individuals that would find themselves in situations where protection is key in terrains that would be deemed more strenuous. The ability to carry your rifle safely, and protect it from the elements as you travel should be a priority to many and the fact that Elite Survival Systems has a product that allows you to do so is something that I find extremely beneficial to future endeavors that may find their way into the lives of the general public.
