XTech Tactical Grip

Here at Liberty Report, we are no strangers to the company XTech Tactical, a few of us had the opportunity to review them in the past. This time around I have the pleasure to be able to review a pistol grip for the AR-15 platform courtesy of the monthly subscription Tac Pack. Now there are a few styles that I have seen them create for the AR-15, but the one I will be talking about is the “Heavy Texture ATG AR15 Black Adjustable Tactical Grip.” Over the course of this review, I will cover a few ins and outs of the grip including the installation process, durability and the different angles that the grip can be placed at.

The first thing that I would like to cover in this review is the is a bit of product description of the pistol. Xtech makes a few different styles of grips for the AR platform. What I like about this that sets it apart from the others is that the angle of the grip is adjustable. There are three different angles that you can set the grip in order to which are 17, 25 and 33 degrees. I found personally that I was comfortable using the grip at 25 degrees. Everyone has a different preference on where they would want their grips angled, for XTech to be able to provide this option for the user is extremely beneficial.

Installation is extremely simple for the grip as well. When it comes to installing the grip, you would angle it to the position that you want the grip in being the three preset degrees that are made specifically for the grip. After the desired angle is set all you have to do is tighten the nut down using an Allen key provided. Installation is quick and to the point making it easy for you to get right back out there on the range using this pistol grip.

I wanna talk about grip a bit more when it comes to how it is made. The grip does have finger grooves made into it, but they are not extremely deep. I like this when it comes to a grip on my rifle. Something about deep groves throws me off, and I am not really comfortable with them. When it comes to the grip from XTech I find that it is just cut deep enough into the grip allowing me to fully have control on the pistol grip without the uncomfortable feeling of deep cuts.

For my final thoughts, I would have to say that this pistol grip made by XTech Tactical is extremely well made. With the installation, adjustability, and comfortability there was no one negative thing that I could say when it comes to XTech’s product. Angle degree adjustment is the main thing that really caught my attention on the grip. Being easy to install, comfortable in hand, and price ( being under twenty dollars),  all go hand in hand. If I had to make sure to choose a new grip to add to my rifles, I would have to make sure it was from XTech Tactical.
