After some rather bad taste but accurate and funny tweets from Roseanne Barr about one of Obama’s old advisors Valerie Jarett, ABC has decided to cancel the newly revamped and extremely popular T.V. show “Roseanne”. A lot of us remember the old show for the quirky antics and random shots at whatever political platform was the talk of the time and we all enjoyed a laugh on both sides of the political fence because well… it was funny. However, the revamp took no sides in the normal “pick one side” antics like seemingly every other show does.

Having a show that is strictly right of left is severely limiting your audience in my opinion but Roseanne got it right they seemingly made a conscious effort to not leave anyone out. Which, in the grand scheme of things kind of started to unite some of the polar political opposites because we could all relate to one of the characters of the show.

However, ABC went completely off charts with the bias that we are all facing these days and canceled the entire show which was netting great profits and actually stood a chance to become a top sitcom. Meanwhile, other Actors like Bill Maher, Jimmy Kimmel, Whoopie Goldberg, etc are allowed safe passage to spew whatever left-leaning garbage they wish without any repercussion.

So many shows and comedians just say what they want and nobody bats an eye but, when Roseanne Barr also a fellow comedian says a joke that is actually funny she is shunned due to her sometimes Right-leaning views. In my opinion, it is just sad and is definitely noticed amongst the populace and recognized as disgraceful. I was always raised that whatever goes for the goose should absolutely go for the gander meaning that at the end of the day Roseanne Barr is a comedian if we let all the left-leaning comedians get away with literally everything they say then shouldn’t we expect the same courtesy.

I for one actually enjoyed the show it was a staple in my upbringing and I was trying to have it a staple in my children’s upbringing. However, I am not sure if that will be possible at this point because some people got their feelings hurt… do you know what happens when your feelings are hurt? Nothing… absolutely nothing you just simply move on with life with no regard to whatever hurt your feelings. If this completely noticeable and distasteful media bias keeps rearing its ugly face it will do nothing but ensure the right’s victory every election every single time as they have been.

I say to ABC television, we the people notice your two-faced propaganda and bias and will not stand for it. You can either treat ALL comedians and sitcoms the same or continue on the downward spiral of simply being a fake news liberal channel.
