The Case of Condition 1

When it comes to protection for firearms when it comes to transporting to, and from the range what do you use? Do you use a range bag, the cases that come with the firearms from the factory, for the Glock and Sig users? Some of you may use actual hard shell cases for your firearms protection during transportation. For me, when it comes to the my firearms especially my pistols, I want something that can protect my guns, and not have them moving around in a bag. I have fortunately come across Condition 1 cases.

When it comes to Condition 1, there are many different types of cases that the company produces. The company prides themselves on the fact that no matter what you do whether it is kicked , buried , etc; your firearms are safe within the box. This is something that is an attention grabber.
Looking at the case when it was first delivered to my house, I looked around the outside of the case. The case is constructed extremely well. There are 2 holes next to the latches that you are able to utilize the external TSA approved lock systems that are made available by the company. This is an excellent addition to the security of my firearms, because if I am traveling via plane, and I am bringing my pistols; I am given some relief to the safety of my firearms from wandering hands.

Along the outside of the case underneath the handle of the case there is a pressure relief valve. Yes you read that right, there is a pressure relief valve in the case. This allows you to “adjust the pressure in the case to the conditions that are around you.” I had to look this up on the company’s website , because I was completely thrown off for the moment, making this an excellent addition to the case.

Opening the case the latches are indeed spring loaded which is fantastic , so the case is able to open right up. Spring loaded latches are a major plus for me when it comes to the case. I don’t have to worry about holding up the latches when I open the case. This way they do not accidentally grab onto the case while I open it. The smalls things like that when it comes to cases , are a major make or break when it comes to cases for me.

Durable protective outer shell

The case on the inside has a pretty solid foam core that steps the game up alot. I decided to put the case to the test. I was able to easily put 3 pistols inside the inside of the case. The pistols included a Sig 1911 TacOps, Glock 19, and a Glock 30. With the 3 pistols in the case, I closed it and begun to kick it around . After messing around with the case I reopened it to the pistols still in their original spot.

3 pistols fit firmly into case

When it comes to the cases of Condition 1, I tried and tried again to find any flaws in the construction of the case. The company offers a lifetime warranty for its products when registered. The overall production of the case is something is not to be messed with. I applaud the case , and recommend that anyone looking for a new case for their firearms, to look into Condition 1.
