I always look for different types of cleaning supplies as we have seen in my previous review. Now when it comes to cleaning supplies Podavach has come out with a new CLP Cleaning Cloth that is able to clean a whole firearm with just a small amount of cloth. I usually find claims like this tough to believe for the fact when I clean my firearms I use a lot of cleaning clothes and other items to make sure that the firearm that I was using on the range at the time is completely clean of all the gunk that has built up over the course of time at the range.

What is it?

Alright, so when it comes to Podavach they caught my attention when it comes to their Uloader. I will be going over their Uloader at a different time, but when it comes to this company it was the first thing that caught my attention. Speed loading is something that I find extremely helpful, especially when you have a certain amount of time to train on the range if you have a time limit, and need to get those magazines loaded quick. 

So after speaking to Podavac I have learned that they have been working on producing new equipment for the firearm’s user. What they have come up with is cleaning gear that should make it easier for the user to be able to clean their firearm more efficiently. The product that they have come up with is a CLP cloth that is able to be torn apart in sections. 

Now when it came to CLP when I was in the military, I couldn’t get enough of the stuff when I had to clean my rifle. To be able to have a cloth that is designed to clean a firearm, soaked in CLP, could it be a dream come true when it comes to cleaning? I mean it combines 2 different items used for cleaning and saves a bit of time and space. Let’s see what it has to offer potential users.

What’s it made of?

Looking at the back of the package and opening it up to see what was inside, I was able to see what this product was made of. The product is made up of a “multi-layered fabric, that is soaked in CLP.” I like this because it helps prevent any tearing when it comes to cleaning firearms. I have torn a lot of cleaning fabric in my day and this is something that I feel was made just for individuals like myself. 

Did it do the job when it came to cleaning a firearm?

When it came to cleaning the firearms that I used, I was impressed that it did the job that it was described to. I had no problems when it came to cleaning them, but I would only use them when I am training at a range in order to keep my firearms operating properly. I do like, however, when it comes to cleaning my firearms to get in there with brushes and other items to make sure there are no traces of carbon left over. 

Did anything stand out to me?

A few things stood out to me when it came to these cleaning wipes. First of all, there are a few different sections that are in 1 cloth. Each pack comes with 12 cloths, and each cloth has a measurement of 7, 9×5 and 5 “. Each dimension is obviously may up for a different section that can be torn off from the main cloth. There are different size sections that can be taken off, therefore requiring different measurements. I was thoroughly impressed as well that the CLP did not leave any type of rust on my firearm after cleaning it. 

Would I recommend and final thoughts?

When it comes to my final thoughts of the new CLP wipes that Podavach has come out with, I would have to say that I like them for what I use them for. To me, I find that cleaning firearms is something that I need to make sure I use different tools in order to get the carbon and whatever else is building up in my rifle after going to range out. I believe that you should somewhat maintain a fairly clean rifle when you are at the range for a long period of time, and these wipes are the go-to answer for that. I believe that they are a convenient and easy way to keep yourself up to speed when it comes to training, but I am an old school guy and will continue to use other items such as different tools such as brushes in order to clean my firearms more thoroughly.
