Miner Ammo .223 , Is it worth the buy?

Back at it again is Miner Ammo. This time I had the chance to shoot their .223 at 55 grain. As previously written before in my last review, this company has produced a good amount of various calibers for the shooter. When it comes to this caliber,  I went over the same tests that I had set forth for the .223.

When it comes to testing the .223, I had to make sure that this ammunition was going to be able to cycle through above anything else. I put 10 rounds in a magazine and fired each without a problem. I was fully able to get through the magazine without any failure to feeds. This is something that I was worried about. I have begun to shoot many different calibers from different companies after my last review, and a common trend was that I was not able to properly cycle through the magazine. With this being said, I have to give the ammo good marks.

After making sure that there were no problems with the ammunition cycling through, I was looking for light primer strikes. Light primer strikes are an issue that I need to make sure that is not common when it comes to any type of ammunition. I shot the rest of the box of the ammunition that I was given, and within the 50 rounds of ammunition that I had on me, there were no issues on light primer strikes. Along with the light primer strikes, I did not receive any squib loads as well.

Looking at this ammunition, the overall performance of the ammunition held up to my standards. There really wasn’t anything that didn’t sway me away from not liking the ammunition. The manufacturing and loading of the .223 were done extremely well. There is nothing negative to note about this ammunition, and I can stand by when it comes to recommending it to anyone looking for .223 at a decent price.

The ammo can be found here.
